Job Title: Administration Coordinator (Co-Curricular Learning & Systems) 

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum, pro rata

Job Type: Full time, Term time only + 10 days to be worked during school holidays

We are looking for an Administration Coordinator (Co-Curricular Learning & Systems) to support the Deputy School Business Manager and the Operations team with day-to-day activities ensuring colleagues are supported to maintain a thriving school community.

We are looking to improve our use of digital platforms and systems and the suitable candidate will facilitate and develop the use of our Engage MIS (the school’s management information system) and support teaching and operations colleagues to work in a more streamlined manner. The MIS platform is integral to the running of the school and we are looking for candidates with strong digital skills who  are comfortable developing expertise in new platforms.

Previous experience as a School Administrator or similar role is essential (Co-curricular Learning admin experience desirable). The successful applicant will be someone who takes the initiative with a focus on the solution and understands and applies the principles of responsibility and accountability.  They will need a strong background in Administration which will be reflected in their recent previous roles. In addition, the Administration Coordinator (Co-Curricular Learning & Systems) role requires a collaborative approach along with excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills. They need to be highly astute and dynamic, innovative and effective at identifying and implementing solutions to problems.

In addition to this the school requires someone with strong communication skills to coordinate our thriving wrap around care offering, supporting club leaders to effectively deliver quality clubs and activities which meet the high standards of our school community.

The role is term time only, 35 hours per week, plus an additional 10 days working during school holidays.

You will have: 

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft platforms and an understanding of how to help upskill inexperienced users
  • Working knowledge of Data Protection legislation
  • Demonstrable experience with cloud-based systems, including Teams and O365
  • Evidence of having managed multiple, varied projects and tasks on time and to a high standard
  • Experience of working in cross-functional teams
  • Evidence of stakeholder engagement
  • Experience of managing projects, contractors and dealing with suppliers
  • Experience of communicating technical information to non-technical users

Closing date: Sunday 5 May 2024.

Interviews: To take place in person on a rolling basis at Oakfield School with the School Business Manager, Deputy School Business Manager and other members of the School's Operations team. The process will involve a panel interview and a task-based exercise.

Job Title: Business Administrator

Salary: FTE £28,500 per annum

Job Type: Permanent, Full time

We are seeking a highly motivated person to provide administrative support for the Financial processes of the school, in particular Accounts Payables and Trip costings & organisation. Working in a professional and friendly manner when dealing with parents, staff, pupils and contractors.

You will be working directly with the School Business Manager and also have a close working partnership with the administrative team.

The Business Administrator will provide administrative support for the Financial and Operational processes of the school. Work in a professional and friendly manner when dealing with parents, staff, pupils and contractors.

You will have:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft platforms and experience of MIS systems
  • Organisational skills are essential with the proven ability to prioritise your work and ability to deal with a wide range of situations 
  • Experience of working in a busy, multi-disciplined office
  • The ability to work under pressure in a friendly and professional manner, dealing with a range of stakeholders
